People Security Advisor

- Proven expertise in personnel and physical security management within a government or national infrastructure setting - Strong experience in conducting security risk assessments, investigations, and incident response planning - Ability to develop and maintain security policies, controls, and standards aligned with UK government vetting requirements - Excellent influence, negotiation, and communication skills, with the capability to work independently or collaboratively - Proficiency in producing high-quality documentation and reports using MS Office suite - Knowledge of government security standards, integrated security protocols, and risk management strategies - Formal security qualifications or memberships of professional security bodies (nice to have) - Experience in change management and delivering security improvement initiatives (nice to have) - Ability to coordinate security forums and working groups effectively (nice to have) - Knowledge of cyber security, threat intelligence, and identity and access management (IAM) is beneficial (nice to have) - Relevant security certifications or postgraduate qualification in security management preferred - Minimum of several years experience in personnel and physical security roles, ideally within the UK government or a comparable environment - Must hold UK Security Clearance (SC vetted) - Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle to visit remote sites - Willingness to travel occasionally to various sites around London
