Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience operating at Lead or Senior Security Architect level within complex enterprise environments
- Proven experience overseeing secure solution and system design
- Experience working within architecture governance frameworks
- Strong understanding of information security controls, standards and compliance requirements
- Ability to influence and guide solution architects and technical stakeholders
- Experience supporting large-scale change or transformation programmes
- Security architecture and secure system design expertise
- Architecture governance and design review skills
- Knowledge of security by design principles
- Reference architecture development experience
- Stakeholder engagement and technical leadership capabilities
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical design of systems and services, ensuring appropriate security considerations are embedded throughout the architecture lifecycle
- Support solution architects in delivering secure, compliant and resilient system designs
- Ensure alignment with Information Security strategies, policies and control frameworks
- Support the maintenance and development of security reference architectures and architectural roadmaps
- Participate in solution governance forums, reviewing and approving solution and system architectures
- Ensure security by design principles are consistently applied across programmes and projects
- Provide subject matter expertise on security technologies to support organisational change and transformation initiatives
- Contribute to architectural standards, guidelines and best practice documentation
Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Security Architect for a hybrid role based in London, where you will work 2 days per week onsite. This contract position offers a competitive day rate of £659 (Inside IR35) and is set for a duration of 3-6 months with an immediate start. In this role, you will work closely with our existing Lead Security Architect to ensure that security is a fundamental aspect of our systems and services, contributing to our ongoing commitment to security by design and compliance with relevant standards.
