Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in ER Studio.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including services such as Google Cloud Storage (GCS), BigQuery, and Kafka.
- Strong knowledge of Advanced SQL, SSIS, Python, and Unix shell scripting.
- Experience working within Agile teams and delivery frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Lead data modeling for solution design, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models and schemas.
- Define mappings between logical and physical models to meet performance and accessibility needs.
- Align new data models with the Enterprise Data Model and support through governance processes.
- Register GCP Data Products in Collibra.
- Apply modeling techniques such as star schemas, de-normalized views, and normalization.
Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Modeller to join our team and support the migration and reimagining of legacy applications and data models into modern, cloud-native Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Products. This role is essential in shaping our enterprise data architecture using industry best practices and cutting-edge tools. The position will be based in Central London, with a commitment of 3 days per week, and is offered for a duration of 6 months at a pay rate of up to £470 per day (inside IR35).
