Requirements
Must:
- 15 years of experience in Information Security, with 7-8 years specifically in Security Architecture.
- Proven experience in cloud security architecture across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP; multi-cloud experience is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of financial services security and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in IAM, network, data, application and container security, SIEM, and Zero Trust frameworks.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps practices, including secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code templates.
- Relevant certifications are desirable (CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security, and GCP Security).
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
- A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
- A collaborative, adaptable, and detail-oriented approach is required.
Responsibilities
- I will define and evolve the cloud security architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with European regulations (GDPR, DORA, PSD2, NIS2) and industry standards.
- I will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and engineering teams regarding cloud security matters.
- I will lead security architecture reviews, conduct risk assessments, and manage controls for enterprise applications and cloud platforms.
- I will implement DevSecOps practices to enhance secure development workflows and CI/CD processes.
- I will ensure compliance with established frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and CSA CCM.
Description
We are located in Leeds and offer a hybrid work model, requiring 4 days on-site each week. This role comes with a day rate of £467.50 and is inside IR35. The expected duration of this engagement is 6 months. We are looking for someone who is highly experienced and can take the lead on our cloud security initiatives within the financial services sector.
