Requirements
Must:

- Knowledge of cloud and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Azure, Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.
- Experience with operating systems, particularly Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu).
- Understanding of infrastructure technologies, including VMware, HPE, and Cisco.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including WAN/LAN/WLAN, routing, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and load balancing.
- Familiarity with security and identity management, including PAM, IAM, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the hybrid infrastructure strategy and 3-5 year roadmap.
- Define current and future-state infrastructure landscapes.
- Lead cloud adoption and modernization across the organization.
- Establish and govern infrastructure standards, policies, and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership across on-prem, virtualized, and cloud platforms.
- Advise stakeholders on solution options, risks, costs, and benefits.
- Identify and mitigate infrastructure risks while maintaining architectural integrity.
- Drive continuous improvement, quality, and consistency across platforms.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, PMO, and delivery teams.
- Participate in the on-call rota.
Description
We are undergoing a multi-year transformation to deliver a modern, resilient, and evergreen hybrid infrastructure, built on cloud-native and software-defined data centre principles. As the Enterprise Services Principal Administrator, you will own the end-to-end physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructure platforms and play a central role in shaping our infrastructure strategy. This hybrid position is based in West London, requiring on-site presence three days a week. We offer a competitive salary of £87,000 and focus on fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth within our organization.
