Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with 10-12 years of hands-on experience in GIS support and development roles. Proficiency in the latest versions of the Smallworld Product Suite (PNI / Electric Office) and strong hands-on experience with Magik is essential. A solid understanding of Java, SQL, and Oracle is required, along with knowledge of SWMFS DBA, VMDS, and core GIS modules (PNI, Core SW4, SW5, EO, GDO, GTO, GSS, GSA, DM, MES, NRM, K8). Experience in delivering customer-specific customizations, as well as working with local regulatory or third-party products, is also necessary.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will analyze, design, code, implement, and test GIS solutions. Your responsibilities will include maintaining documentation throughout the entire process and providing continuous updates to stakeholders. You will support project delivery across multiple domains, contribute to system enhancements, deliver high-quality GIS solutions, and handle customer-specific customizations. Additionally, you will work with regulatory and third-party product integrations.
Description
This position is based in Edinburgh, UK, and offers a hybrid working model with 2-3 days per week on-site. It is a contract role inside IR35, and the day rate is market rate.
