Requirements
Must:
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven success designing and managing large-scale Azure (or multi-cloud) environments.
- Proficient in core cloud services, networking, and identity management.
- Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep) and DevOps tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Strong understanding of cloud security and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Experience in cloud cost control and optimisation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsibilities
- I will design and implement secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures (networking, storage, compute, security).
- I will lead cloud migration initiatives, ensuring minimal downtime and best-practice adoption.
- I will optimise cloud environments for performance and cost-efficiency.
- I will enforce security and compliance standards, including identity management and data protection.
- I will automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
- I will create and maintain disaster recovery and high availability strategies.
- I will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business goals.
- I will document cloud architectures, processes, and promote team knowledge sharing.
- I will monitor cloud health and performance using Azure-native tools and respond to incidents.
Description
- The salary for this position is £90,000 per annum. - This role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days on-site per week. - British Citizenship is required for eligibility.
