Requirements
Must:
- Strong proficiency in AWS-based Machine Learning technologies including SageMaker, Lambda, S3, and EC2.
- Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines and Docker containerisation for ML model development and deployment.
- Expertise in data preprocessing and feature engineering to prepare datasets for large-scale modelling.
- Proficiency in Python programming with experience in ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Demonstrable experience in distributed computing for handling large ML workloads, particularly using Spark.
- Strong capability in statistical analysis and model evaluation to ensure robust and reliable outputs.
- Previous experience in the banking sector (mandatory).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy large-scale machine learning models within an AWS environment.
- Support advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize the deployment of machine learning solutions.
- Utilize CI/CD pipelines and Docker for continuous integration and delivery of machine learning models.
- Implement data preprocessing and feature engineering techniques to enhance model performance.
- Conduct statistical analysis and model evaluation to ensure accuracy and reliability of outputs.
Description
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our Glasgow team until December 31, 2026. You will have the opportunity to work 2-3 days on-site per week, with a competitive day rate of £382.50 (Inside IR35). Your background in cloud-based machine learning solutions will be invaluable as we strive to support advanced analytics and make data-driven decisions in the financial services sector.
