ICT Senior Applications Engineer

### - I hold a degree or equivalent level qualification or experience. - I possess an ITIL Foundation or equivalent certification. - I have knowledge of supporting Business applications and their databases, preferably in Housing-related systems within a Local Government environment. - My technical knowledge includes: - Operating System: Windows 11 and MS Server 20xx. - Database: Oracle SQL, MS SQL, MS Access, and MS Azure. - Scripting: MS-DOS, Visual Basic, and/or PowerShell. - Reporting: SAP Business Objects and MS Power BI. - Tools: MS Office 365 and associated products, SSMS, IIS, SFTP. - I can communicate complex or technical information succinctly, have excellent written skills, and am capable of presenting to small groups. - I am familiar with handling service desk incidents, requests, and change controls. - I possess the ability to design, adopt, implement, and use appropriate procedures, methods, and tools to ensure services are delivered consistently and to the correct quality. - I can prioritize and plan my workload effectively to ensure deadlines are met and can identify and resolve potential conflicts as necessary. - I am flexible and adaptable to change. - I excel at creating and maintaining positive and professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. - I am aware of my strengths and weaknesses that impact my ability to deliver service and am willing to seek assistance to improve. - I am willing to work occasionally outside of normal business hours. ###
