Requirements
Must:
- Experience of providing technical leadership to an engineering team
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills
- Resilient, open to change, and results-oriented
- Experience in coding and testing analytics tracking code using Tealium iQ, Tealium Event Stream, and Adobe Analytics
- Experience integrating data sources via web and hypermedia APIs
- Proficient in Web Technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Next.js, and Node.js
- Experience with event-driven and eventual consistency systems using Kafka, .Net, Java, REST APIs, AWS, Terraform, and DevOps
- Nice to have: experience in data piping and modeling using SQL, DBT, ETL, Data Warehousing, Redshift, and Python
- Background in e-commerce and mobile applications is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to engineering professionals across your domain
- Set objectives for your teams and domain
- Own the delivery of the outcomes and monitor ongoing progress and performance within the OKR framework
- Partner with the product manager, engineering managers, staff engineers, architect, agile coach, and engineering director to formulate a domain level technical strategy
- Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitate communication between teams under your leadership, enabling the free exchange of information within your sphere of influence
- Develop appropriate organizational structure in collaboration with the Engineering Director
- Resource plans to support business objectives and work with the Engineering Director on budgeting within the domain
