Requirements
Must:
- I require candidates to hold active SC clearance.
- Expertise in Cisco DNA (Automation).
- Expertise in Solarwinds (Monitoring).
- Intermediate knowledge of Cisco ISE (Identity).
- Intermediate knowledge of Cisco Wireless and Firewall Management Center (FMC).
- Desirable experience with LogicMonitor.
- Expertise in Cisco ACI (Fabric).
- Desirable experience with F5 proxies.
Responsibilities
- I will need you to support data center network upgrades by ensuring the delivery of new hardware directly to data centers for asset tagging and storage, preparing for deployment.
- You will be responsible for supporting installations to align with asset expiry schedules, ensuring that upgrades are executed in a timely and efficient manner.
- As the selected hardware is provided by Cisco, I expect you to collaborate with resources that are market leaders in this domain, comparable to Microsoft in their industry standing.
- You will work within NHSE's infrastructure teams, which are Cisco-certified, to ensure a seamless deployment and operational continuity.
- You should anticipate conducting like-for-like swaps of legacy Cisco hardware, including Cisco Nexus Switches (9000 series) to toughen, tighten, and protect the network, as well as supporting software-defined WANs with Cisco Catalyst edge platform devices (8500, 9500).

- You will be involved with Cisco WAN routing, where all edge platforms have mandatory SD-WAN and routing subscriptions that cover device functionality. - Additional responsibilities will include working with Cisco QSFP transceiver modules for high-density 40GB Ethernet connectivity options for data centers. - I will require your assistance with managing additional memory and storage integral to units to support network traffic and flexible storage solutions. - Furthermore, securing additional licensing for switches and devices will be necessary to ensure device operation, secure connectivity, end-to-end visibility, analytics, and assurance.
