Requirements
Must:
- Proven professional experience in Java and Node.js development
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Linux systems
- Proficiency in writing and maintaining Shell Scripts
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Java, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Write efficient and secure Shell Scripts to support automation and system tasks
- Work within a Linux environment to deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality code
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes
- Ensure best practices in software development, including version control, CI/CD, and documentation
Description
We are seeking a Java Developer to join our team for a 12-month project, working in a hybrid environment across various locations including Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Blackpool, Glasgow, and Cardiff. This role requires government experience and offers a competitive rate of £400 (Inside IR35).
