- Experience working with Craft CMS preferred
- Comfortable working with Git and structured development workflows
- Experience building responsive layouts without relying on page builders
- Understanding of performance optimisation, accessibility and technical SEO
- Ability to estimate projects realistically and manage delivery
- A problem solver who enjoys refining systems and improving processes
- Clear communication skills and confidence speaking with internal stakeholders
- Pride in writing clean, maintainable and scalable code
- Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Vue or similar (nice to have)
- Experience with headless CMS architecture (nice to have)
- Experience with AWS environments including EC2, S3 or SES (nice to have)
- Agency experience (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Leading the build of bespoke websites using Craft CMS, HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript
- Translating Figma designs into clean, accessible, high performance front end builds
- Architecting scalable content structures and component systems
- Exploring and implementing modern approaches such as headless CMS setups and API driven builds
- Working with Git and structured workflows across multiple projects
- Improving build processes and deployment pipelines
- Collaborating with the Marketing Director to scope projects and contribute to pricing and timelines
- Advising on technical feasibility during sales conversations
- Estimating development time accurately and identifying project risks
- Building high converting PPC landing pages with performance and tracking in mind
- Overseeing launches and ensuring technical quality assurance
- Supporting database structure, structured imports and migrations
- Implementing technical SEO and improving Core Web Vitals
- Supporting staging and production environments
- Helping manage infrastructure, DNS and domain configuration where required
- Researching and introducing new technologies that improve how we build
