Requirements

Must:
- Masters or PhD in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics or related STEM fields - 3 years of experience working as a data scientist (or similar role) - Expert proficiency in Python and experience using SQL, alongside common ML/AI packages (TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, etc.) - Familiarity with statistical techniques (e.g. GLM, GAMs) and deep learning techniques (e.g. neural networks, transformers, diffusion models, etc.) - Comfortable designing and creating neural network architectures, tree-based methods, and applying new technologies from scratch - Experience deploying models in cloud environments (such as AWS/Google Cloud) and making models production-ready - Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with both business and technical teams - Experience with sports event and/or tracking data and a deep interest in sports, particularly soccer and tennis (desired)
