Requirements
Must:
- Strong front end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience working on live, customer-facing websites (ideally ecommerce)
- Experience working from Figma (or similar design tools) into production
- Commercial experience working within a C# .NET / MVC environment
- Good understanding of responsive design, performance, and accessibility
- Experience or exposure to analytics, tracking, or website optimisation
- A proactive mindset and ability to work at pace in a small team
- Nice to have: Experience with Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager
- Nice to have: A/B testing or conversion rate optimisation experience
- Nice to have: Ecommerce or high-traffic website experience
- Nice to have: SQL Server or data exposure
- Nice to have: API or integration experience
Responsibilities
- Taking Figma designs and translating them into responsive front end code
- Building and improving features within a C# .NET MVC environment
- Improving website performance, page speed, and overall user experience
- Working with analytics and tracking tools (Google Analytics, GTM)
- Supporting A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation (CRO)
- Identifying and resolving issues across the website and user journey
- Collaborating with design, data, and commercial teams to prioritise improvements
- Supporting integrations, APIs, and backend processes where required
Description
We are hiring a Full Stack Developer to join our small, fast-moving development team in Folkestone. This role leans heavily toward front end development, focusing on live websites and translating design into production to enhance performance and user experience. You will be entrusted to take ownership of your work, making a direct impact on our ecommerce platform. Our team operates in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, valuing sustainability alongside commercial performance. We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience, along with benefits such as a company pension, cycle to work scheme, on-site parking, and a staff discount. This is an office-based role (Monday to Friday, 9-5) but hybrid working options will be available in the future.
