Requirements
Must:
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Azure, and Azure DevOps/CI/CD
- Proven track record of leading a team through a transition to AI-assisted workflows
- Ability to implement governance, risk management, quality assurance, and cost considerations in AI integration
- Awareness of DevSecOps including SAST/DAST, secrets management, and AI-specific security risks
- Experience in raising team standards and improving performance
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical engineers and senior non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding of the difference between building a feature and owning it in production

Description
We are a well-established UK business restructuring our software engineering team. We are seeking an experienced Development Lead for a transformation contract focused on driving change, not maintenance. This role offers the opportunity to implement AI-assisted development methodologies and improve team performance. The position requires on-site presence three days a week in Central London, with an initial six-month contract and the possibility of extension. We are looking for strong leadership and technical skills to foster a high-performing team.
