Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience leading UAT on ERP programmes, ideally SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
- Experience owning UAT end to end, not just supporting it
- Comfortable working with business users, project teams, and system integrators
- Confident enough to challenge when things dont stack up
- Strong organisation skills without slowing delivery down
- Clear communicator who can keep stakeholders aligned
- Ability to remain calm under pressure when timelines tighten and defects build up
- Experience within SAP environments, ideally S/4HANA Public Cloud
- Strong understanding of UAT processes, defect management, and test governance
- Comfortable with tools like Excel, Project, and standard test platforms
- Able to manage competing priorities without losing control of delivery
- Degree or similar background helpful, but not essential
Responsibilities
- Own UAT end to end, ensuring the system works in the real world
- Bring structure, clarity, and realism to the testing approach
- Work directly with business users to shape realistic scenarios and scripts
- Ensure coverage of integrations, edge cases, security, and access controls
- Run UAT, keeping the schedule aligned with the wider programme
- Involve the right people at the right time and keep stakeholders aligned
- Manage defects properly, including logging, challenging, prioritising, and driving resolution
- Own reporting, documentation, and the path to sign-off, keeping everything structured and transparent
- Identify and call out risks before they become problems
Description
We are currently engaged in a live SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud rollout in Guildford, where we operate four days onsite. This contract role falls inside IR35 and requires candidates to be eligible for SC clearance checks. Our team is focused on ensuring a robust testing process that instills confidence in the projects progression. The role demands strong leadership in managing UAT and offers an opportunity to work across various business functions, dealing with multiple priorities while adapting to the pressures of testing. We value structure and clear communication to keep everyone aligned and focused.
