Requirements
Must:
- Strong commercial frontend experience
- Deep Shopify expertise, including Liquid and APIs
- Expert-level HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills
- A sharp eye for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Experience with React (Next.js), TypeScript, and Tailwind is useful (non-essential)
Responsibilities
- Building advanced frontend solutions using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Developing and extending Shopify themes using Liquid
- Working with APIs to integrate third-party systems cleanly
- Stress-testing performance and fixing bottlenecks before users see them
- Reviewing code and raising the bar across the team
- Collaborating with Design, product, and other developers to ensure frontend quality
- Challenging weak ideas, simplifying over-engineered ones, and backing decisions with experience
