Requirements

Must:
- Experience within a networking arena and a desire to succeed. - Ability to work within a team environment. - Willingness to work towards a professional qualification to aid future career progression. - Preparedness to join an on-call support rota once sufficient knowledge of the network has been acquired. - Desirable qualifications include CCNA or equivalent. - Knowledge of product families from manufacturers such as HP, Cisco, Checkpoint, FortiGate, Juniper, and F5. - Experience in working with and configuring SNMP-based element managers to ensure network availability.

- Ensuring the security, integrity, availability, and performance of the network. - Maintaining the current network infrastructure while adhering to best practices. - Developing the data network infrastructure, including Local Area Networking, Wide Area Networking, and Wireless Networking. - Configuring network equipment to support new project activities. - Working within an established ITIL change process.
