Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in application support or ownership
- Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL-backed business applications (T-SQL preferred)
- Experience in supporting and integrating business applications (APIs, EDI, flat files) and vendor management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong documentation and training experience
- Analytical, proactive, and adaptable mindset
- Applicants must be based in Northern-Ireland with full rights to work unrestricted in the United Kingdom
Responsibilities
- Own and support core business applications, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and performance tuning
- Manage application updates, releases, and changes, coordinating with internal teams and vendors
- Maintain and improve integrations with other systems, ensuring smooth data flow
- Write and maintain clear documentation, SOPs, and training materials for users
- Identify under-used features and optimise how applications are adopted across the business
- Ensure security, data governance, and disaster recovery processes are followed
Description
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Application Support Engineer to take ownership of key business applications and ensure they run smoothly across our organisation. This role will involve day-to-day support, updates, integrations, and process improvements, working closely with key stakeholders across multiple departments. Our team operates from Aghalee with a set schedule of Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. We offer a competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000 and the flexibility to work from home.
