Requirements
Must:
- Strong product knowledge of BY/JDA WMS Dispatcher components
- Experience in designing, configuring, and implementing Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions
- Ability to engineer new features and system enhancements based on customer needs
- Proficiency in upgrading WMS Dispatcher to latest versions (2024 and above)
- Skills in analyzing and optimizing WMS components for better efficiency and reliability
- Capability to develop technical solutions based on functional specification documents
- Experience in writing functional specifications for system modifications and reports
- Ability to create and execute detailed test plans and document results
- Strong PL/SQL and Shell scripting expertise
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for deployment efficiency
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud Technology
- Experience in programming languages such as React JS, Java, and Python
- Familiarity with Power BI and JasperSoft Reports development
- Experience with warehouse automation technologies (e.g., SSI, Dematic, Beumer, KNAPP)
- Experience in other WMS systems like BY WMS Cognitive, Manhattan, Oracle
Responsibilities
- Assess client business requirements and identify opportunities for improvement
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of JDA Warehouse Management Systems
- Analyze and optimize solution components to implement best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to estimate project timelines and deliverables
- Highlight incremental improvement opportunities for existing clients
- Write functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, and report requirements
- Author and review system and procedural documentation during the project
- Design and develop configuration changes within the BY WMS
- Engineer and implement new software features based on customer specifications
- Create and execute test plans to ensure software quality
- Document test results and provide updates to project leaders
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings with project teams
- Manage CI/CD Jenkins and pipeline for the BY WMS
