Requirements
Must:
- Expertise with Collibra platform (configuration, integration, and workflow implementation)
- Experience with data lakes and ETL tools (Glue, Informatica, Talend, IICS)
- Experience with data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience with streaming sources (Kafka)
- Ability to build lineage diagrams across ETL pipelines, APIs, datasets, and consumption layers
- Strong knowledge of metadata management, data quality, and data governance frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Collibra-based data governance solutions, including Data Catalog, Business Glossary, Policy & Standards, and Data Quality Integration
- Define Collibra architecture, metadata models, custom domains, and asset types
- Create reusable frameworks for metadata ingestion, lineage, and governance workflows
- Configure Collibra components such as custom asset models and workflows
- Develop and maintain Collibra REST APIs and integration catalog crawlers
- Implement metadata onboarding processes and automated connectors to data platforms
- Collaborate with data governance councils and business SMEs to define data standards and quality rules
- Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance frameworks and compliance requirements
- Implement automated metadata ingestion from various data sources
- Build lineage diagrams across ETL pipelines, APIs, datasets, and downstream consumption layers
- Ensure metadata completeness, accuracy, and operational SLAs
Description
We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead with in-depth expertise in data governance and the Collibra platform, based in Norwich, Norfolk. As part of our team, you will have a pivotal role in defining solution architectures and collaborating closely with various stakeholders. This is a contract position for a duration of 6 months, offering a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to lead impactful data governance initiatives.
