Requirements
Must:
- 12 years of experience in the IT industry
- 10 years of experience with Appian
- Certified Level 2 Appian Developer
- 5 years in Technical Architecture, Application Development, Business process management, or Enterprise Application Integration (SOA) with Appian or other BPM tools
- 3 years in defining and documenting architecture for technology implementations
- 3 years of experience in Enterprise Application integration (SOA, ESB) and n-tier client-server architectures
- 4 years of experience in all phases of software development for large-scale business-critical applications following Agile methodologies
- 3 years of Business Architecture experience including identifying & decomposing business capabilities
- 4 years of Business process modeling & optimization experience
- 4 years of recent hands-on experience with Appian
- 3 years of experience developing Appian Plugin
- 4 years of experience in SOAP and REST Web Service design and implementation
- 4 years of working knowledge of Application Servers like JBoss, WebLogic, IIS, Tomcat
- 4 years of experience in configuring, debugging, and systems integration
- 4 years of experience with relational databases and SQL scripting, preferably Oracle
- 3 years of experience working with Appian SAIL Design
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Telecom domain experience is desirable
Responsibilities
- Define and document architecture for technology implementations
- Develop and optimize business process models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale business-critical applications
- Create and maintain Appian applications and plugins
- Design and implement SOAP and REST web services
- Configure and debug systems integration including forms and reports
- Work with relational databases and SQL scripts
- Support Agile methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle
- Work within a team environment to enhance and deploy solutions
Description
We are seeking a WS-Tech Architect to join our team in Reading on a contract basis. Our ideal candidate will bring over a decade of experience in the IT industry with significant expertise in Appian.
