Requirements
Must:
- Experience in TBM, ITFM, cost transparency modelling, or service financial modelling (or willingness to rapidly skill up with learning in this area)
- Strong background in service design, business design or operating model design
- Ability to translate complex financial and technical concepts into simple visual designs
- Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops
- Strong analytical, process mapping, and documentation skills
- Ability to work across Finance, Technology, Business Change, and Architecture functions
- Knowledge of Apptio, ServiceNow, CSDM or CMDB data modelling (desirable)
- Experience designing capability frameworks or operating models (desirable)
- Understanding of IT allocations, chargeback or service costing (desirable)
- Experience in a large or regulated organisation (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of TBM maturity assessments at programme start and end
- Translate leadership goals into a clear narrative for TBM decision making
- Design and document the TBM Target Operating Model, including roles, processes, and accountabilities
- Define and formalise the cadence for TBM reporting, insights, actions and governance
- Identify the capabilities required to effectively run TBM and design initial team structures
- Develop a measurable TBM maturity model with criteria, scoring, and progress markers
- Support the design of fair charging principles and document cost recovery requirements
- Create materials, guides, and artefacts to aid teams in using TBM outputs
- Support the design of stable TBM BAU processes and document workflows
- Facilitate agreements on critical data ownership and document data integration points
Description
We are seeking a TBM Service Designer to play a critical role in advancing our organizations TBM maturity. This hybrid position, based primarily in our London office, involves collaborating with Finance, Technology, Architecture, and Data teams to enhance our service delivery and cost insights.
