Requirements
Must:
- SCADA/EMS/DMS Developer expertise
- Hands-on experience with databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MYSQL, or similar RDBMS
- Strong skills in Database Design and Data Modeling
- Experience with Display & Visualization SLD creation, HMI development, and operator displays
- Programming/Scripting knowledge in C, C++, PERL, Java, or equivalent
- Proven skills in real-time data acquisition and Historian integration
- Experience in performance tuning and monitoring of database systems
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, SVN, or equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in incident management and root-cause analysis
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain databases and data models for real-time power system applications
- Enhance and maintain display applications, dashboards, and HMI interfaces for operators and engineers
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and integrity of database systems under real-time operational loads
- Perform database tuning, indexing, query optimization, and performance monitoring
- Develop and maintain scripts, APIs, and services for data integration, replication, and reporting
- Troubleshoot and resolve database and display issues, performing root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Maintain documentation, including database schemas and display specifications
