Senior Solutions Engineer

- Expert experience in Java & Spring Boot and/or similar languages (Go, Java Script). - Expert experience with API First approach and API standards (REST, JSON, patterns & practices, RESTful API design). - Expert experience with API technology (API gateways) and API security (authentication / authorisation / identity providers). - Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical subjects on multiple levels. - Experience working in cloud providers such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Terraform. - Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience working in a genuine agile environment-Scrum, Kanban, or anything in between. - Worked in a true DevSecOps culture with ownership and responsibility for your code in production. - Inclusion of monitoring and observability with tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. - Incident management with tools such as PagerDuty. - A deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns and event-driven architecture. - Experience working with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.). - Genuine advocate for modern high-quality software engineering practices (good to have). - Customer-focused, driven to deliver experiences users will love, and keen to collaborate with product stakeholders across the business (good to have). - Resilient, energetic, and enthusiastic, able to deliver results in a complex environment while responding constructively to innovative ideas and inputs (good to have). - Comfortable challenging existing thinking in a positive way, while building credibility and trust through experience and personal style (good to have).
