Requirements
Must:
- Strong background in Salesforce release management within regulated environments (preferably financial services or banking)
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce deployments (including version control, metadata APIs, and deployment automation tools)
- Working knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and ITIL frameworks
- Strong understanding of data governance, GDPR, and FCA compliance
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to interact with governance boards and leadership
- Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification (desirable)
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (GitHub Actions, Copado, Gearset) (desirable)
- Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, and Confluence (desirable)
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent background in change/release management in banking (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Salesforce environments as part of complex release schedules
- Plan and execute sandbox refreshes and manage environment data strategies
- Manage and maintain the Salesforce release calendar across business units
- Lead release planning and readiness meetings, ensuring full visibility and traceability of changes
- Partner with Change Management to ensure releases meet all internal control and compliance obligations
- Own the end-to-end deployment process across Salesforce environments (SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod, Production)
- Act as the central point of contact for development teams, business leads, testers, and platform owners
- Ensure releases follow bank policy including change records, access control, rollback procedures, and audit trails
- Champion DevOps and automation best practices throughout the Salesforce lifecycle
- Monitor release metrics and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues
