Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an experienced SAP ISU IDE Consultant with hands-on functional experience in the areas of IDE, Device, Meterworks, and Workflow. You should possess:
- Knowledge of Meter works, Service Orders, Notifications, and tasks, with desirable experience in Workflow Configuration.
- A background in bulk creation of service orders.
- Experience in functional specification writing, functional/integration/performance testing, and regression testing.
- Skills in reporting and documentation for audit reasons and ensuring smooth project transitions to support.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication abilities, essential for interacting with various stakeholders during project processes.
- Familiarity with the Electricity and Gas markets in both Northern and Southern Ireland is desirable.
- Knowledge of standard testing practices for SAP Projects, with additional experience using HP Quality Centre being an advantage.
- The ability to maintain a common set of scoping, design, implementation, and test artifacts and templates in alignment with project definitions.
- Experience in working on large SAP projects across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide subject matter expertise and support for our SAP Systems in the areas of IDE, Device, Meterworks, and Workflow.
- Offer end-user support for SAP ISU and investigate/resolution of support calls raised by the business.
- Work on internal SAP projects and handle change requests as necessary.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements across the SAP landscape.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders in the specification, development, and testing of enhancements or modifications to the SAP solution.
- Conduct knowledge transfers for respective application areas to other members of the team.
- Work closely with Team Leads, Delivery Leads, Functional SMEs, and Solution Architects to identify and manage risks.
- Manage change request scoping, including estimation and design, preparing functional specifications, and completing system configuration.
- Liaise with ABAP/Basis and Security teams during the build phase.
