Must:
We are looking for a PSA Engineer who possesses strong skills in requirement gathering, including the ability to define Epics and User Stories. You should have experience with Energy Management Systems (EMS), particularly in administering and optimizing applications such as GE PowerOn Reliance (XA21), AEMS Platform Software, and systems from Siemens, OSI, ABB, and Schneider. Knowledge of protocols like ICCP, IEC, DNP3, Modbus, as well as experience with data modeling in XML/JSON is crucial. Proficiency in both Linux and Windows operating systems is required, along with a background in relational databases, specifically Oracle and SQL Server. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in power system applications, including but not limited to Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, Load Frequency Control (AGC), and Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS). Programming skills in languages such as C, C++, PERL, along with SQL and Shell scripting, are essential. You should demonstrate the ability to read logs, interpret data, and debug files, as well as experience in implementing fixes on live systems.
Responsibilities
As a PSA Engineer, I expect you to be responsible for performing model validation and defect fixing for the DTS system. You will conduct necessary technical corrective actions to restore failed EMS services. You will also be involved in code reviews, deployments, testing, and monitoring of break/fix patches and modifications. Your role will include providing hands-on support for Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) for EMS and enhancing and fixing defects within EMS, ADMS, SCADA systems. You should be comfortable working on Linux OS and have experience managing EMS environments through scripting or database queries for troubleshooting and configuration purposes.
Description

Familiarity with GE eTerra platforms and experience implementing Power System Applications such as Load Forecasting are beneficial.
