Requirements

Must:
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), including their architectures, capabilities, and limits. Familiarity with various Generative AI model types, such as text generation, summarization, and question answering is essential. Knowledge of model hallucinations, bias, and context windows is crucial. You should have mastery of prompting strategies such as zero-shot, few-shot, chain-of-thought (CoT), tree-of-thought (ToT), and self-consistency. Additionally, expertise in Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture and implementation to integrate external, up-to-date, and proprietary data sources is required. Strong SQL skills for querying and extracting data from banking databases, as well as proficiency in Python (or similar) for data manipulation, scripting, automation, and integration with AI APIs are necessary. Familiarity with data structures, data warehousing concepts, and an understanding of API authentication, rate limits, and error handling is also important.

Responsibilities

As a Prompt Engineer, you will design, develop, and refine prompts to maximize the accuracy and effectiveness of Generative AI models. You will utilize techniques like few-shot prompting, chain-of-thought, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to improve model performance within banking applications. Your role involves iteratively testing and refining prompts based on the evaluation of AI outputs to enhance model performance. You will manage the full prompt lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical requirements. Formulating precise queries to guide AI models in analyzing vast datasets for market trends, risk assessment, and portfolio optimization will be part of your daily tasks. You will assist in generating automated reports, summaries of key financial metrics, revenue and expense forecasts, and risk assessments. Optimizing AI outputs to transform raw data into actionable insights for decision-making will also be a key aspect of your work.
