Requirements
Must:
- 8 years of experience in payments execution processing
- Strong payments scheme knowledge (Bacs, Faster Payments, CHAPS, SWIFT, SEPA, cheques)
- Deep understanding of ISO 20022, including message structure, data modeling, and mapping
- Significant experience as a Solution Architect in complex financial services environments
- Ability to produce clear functional architecture and design logical components
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Practical, delivery-focused mindset
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment
- Evidence of thought leadership and initiative
- Knowledge of BIAN, TOGAF, ArchiMate, or C4 (desirable but not mandatory)
- Experience with Avolution Abacus or similar architecture tools (desirable but not mandatory)
- Familiarity with microservices, API integration patterns, and cloud concepts (desirable but not mandatory)
- Exposure to global banking environments or large-scale payment transformations (desirable but not mandatory)

- Support the modernization of the payments estate and migration of legacy platforms to the Payments Hub (PagoNxt)
- Design and govern solutions for core payment execution processing in a complex banking environment
