Requirements
Must:
- I have 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
- I possess strong operational experience with F5 LTM, Akamai CDN/security, Fortinet Fortigate, Juniper SRX, Cisco ISE, and Cisco Nexus 7000.
- I have proven expertise in ACLs, network segmentation, and perimeter defense.
- I have a deep understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, as well as routing protocols like BGP and OSPF, and high availability concepts.
- I excel in troubleshooting complex network issues using packet capture and log analysis.
- I am familiar with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, and SNMP-based tools.
- I possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- I am willing and able to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as part of a rota.
Responsibilities
- I will lead and manage enterprise network operations, ensuring high availability and security.
- I will configure, manage, and troubleshoot F5 LTM (Local Traffic Manager).
- I will operate and optimize Akamai CDN and security solutions.
- I will administer Fortinet Fortigate firewalls and FortiManager.
- I will manage Juniper SRX firewalls and Juniper switches.
- I will implement and support Cisco ISE for RADIUS and network access control.
- I will configure and maintain Cisco Nexus 7000 series switches.
- I will design and enforce ACLs, network segmentation, and perimeter defense strategies.
- I will troubleshoot complex network issues using packet capture and log analysis.
- I will utilize network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, SNMP-based tools).
Description
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Network Engineer to join our telecom client at Stockley Park. This is a fully onsite role, requiring presence at the client location 5 days per week. The position involves supporting a shift rota, including night and weekend shifts, to ensure 24/7 network operations. Only candidates who do not require visa sponsorship are eligible for this role. An immediate start is preferred.
