Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in writing secure scalable enterprise-grade Go applications
- Knowledge of maintaining/troubleshooting secure Go microservices
- Experience of REST APIs, containerisation technologies, and micro-services architecture
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills
- In depth knowledge of best coding practices, code management, agile development practices, and continuous delivery
- Hands on experience with Kubernetes and deployments with helm
- Experience of JAVA development (desirable)
- Familiar with SQL databases (desirable)
- Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace and SPLUNK (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for performance optimization and fine-tuning backend applications to meet demanding non-functional requirements (NFRs)
- Contribute to building scalable, adaptable, and proactive security solutions for mobile apps
- Collaborate with mobile engineers across the bank to enhance mobile security posture
- Deliver new features for customers across our brands in the mobile space
