Requirements
Must:
We seek an experienced GE Smallworld Solution Architect with deep technical expertise and a strong understanding of solution design. You should have expertise in the GE Smallworld Product Suite and associated layered products, along with strong knowledge of Smallworld 5.x architecture, Mobile Enterprise Suite, and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS). Proficiency in GSS, JavaScript, and HTML5 for mobile and web development is essential. Additionally, experience integrating with enterprise systems such as IBM Maximo is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, customer-facing experience, and the willingness to travel while collaborating effectively with distributed and remote teams are also important.
Responsibilities
As the GE Smallworld Solution Architect, your responsibilities will include translating business requirements into comprehensive High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation. You will collaborate closely with customer technical teams for design validation and final sign-off. It will be your job to guide development teams throughout the build and implementation phases and to design and implement robust solutions while coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders. You will also develop responsive web applications using GSS, Java, and open-source technologies, and integrate GE Smallworld with external systems via REST APIs using GSS. Additionally, you will design and manage data update services for external integrations and oversee data migration activities from legacy systems to Smallworld, ensuring accuracy and continuity. Finally, you will prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and deliver client-facing presentations to document architecture and project outcomes.
