Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a GIS analyst on geospatial data management
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ESRI Enterprise Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Online
- Strong understanding of cartographic principles and best practices for map design
- Familiarity with spatial data standards, projections, and coordinate systems
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality maps
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and assist in the development of web maps and apps using ArcGIS Pro, ESRI Enterprise Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Online
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide guidance on the best approaches for web map and app design
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in GIS technology, including ESRI Enterprise Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online
- Assist in the development and maintenance of geospatial databases, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to ensure seamless integration of GIS systems and data
- Utilise automated geospatial process technologies (e.g. FME and Python)
- Author geospatial standards and validate data against those standards
