Requirements
Must:
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, and large data lake (e.g., Snowflake MDH)
- Experience with ETL tools, APIs, and data integration frameworks
- Proficiency in data modeling and architecture design
- Familiarity with insurance industry data (actuarial, investment, policy administration)
- Understanding of regulatory requirements (Solvency II, ORSA)
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to work in a multi-vendor, cross-functional environment
- 8 years of experience in data architecture and integration projects (preferred)
- Prior experience in BFSI or insurance domain (preferred)
- SAP certifications in data integration or analytics (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing data sources and document current ingestion processes
- Identify gaps in automation and standardization
- Assess completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data across domains
- Develop a readiness scorecard for each data stream
- Define source-to-target mappings for S/4HANA and SAC
- Establish business transformation rules, validation logic, and exception handling procedures
- Recommend ETL/MDH-based harmonization strategies
- Evaluate the feasibility and benefits of introducing SAP Datasphere
- Define scenarios where Datasphere can enhance decision-making and analytics
- Ensure data architecture aligns with regulatory policies and internal governance
- Define data ownership and stewardship models
- Prepare functional specification documents for each data stream
- Create integration architecture diagrams and a roadmap for automation
Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to join our team in Dublin, Ireland on a contracting basis with a hybrid working model. In this role, you will lead the design of our customers data landscape and facilitate integration with key systems such as SAP S/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud. You will be an integral part of our efforts to enhance data management and decision-making capabilities.
