Requirements
Must:
- Good understanding of Industrial Automation Layer
- Understanding of different PLCs and connectivity with different devices on the shop floor
- Manufacturing industry knowledge; Aero industry knowledge is an added advantage
- Working knowledge of OPC and different IT solutions used for PLC communication
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of any industrial standard SCADA platform
- Good to have SQL DB knowledge
- Good to have Python knowledge
Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all Automation hardware outages
- Identify necessary technical actions and mobilize appropriate teams immediately upon incident report
- Facilitate real-time communication between all parties to prevent silo creation
- Conduct detailing of all assets in the plant which are part of the Industrial Automation layer
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Industrial Asset Database
- Map typical failure modes and hardware-specific outage triggers
- Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and pre-defined response plans for each asset class
- Design and implement a RASCI Model to eliminate ambiguity in decision-making and hardware provision
- Define roles for every major asset category within the RASCI framework
- Deliver Digital Asset Registry, Outage Response Playbook, Belfast RASCI Matrix, Hardware Procurement Logs, Incident Log & Post-Mortem Reports
