Must:
We are looking for an AWS Solution Architect who has extensive knowledge of AWS services including Lambda. Experience with Avaloq, ETL processes, and integrating Tableau with AWS services is essential. Familiarity with Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), Infrastructure as Code, scripting in Python/Bash, Helm charts, Docker, and Kubernetes is required. You should also have experience with tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins, as well as hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools and practices.
Responsibilities
In your role as an AWS Solution Architect, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance AWS cloud infrastructure that complies with banking standards. You’ll work on transforming our traditional banking infrastructure and services by leveraging the power of the AWS cloud. Your responsibilities will include:
- Re-envisioning the target state from the current data warehouse estate towards a data products/marketplace model on AWS/Snowflake.
- Reviewing AWS infrastructure components, implementing enhancements, and designing an ETL engine using AWS EMR for efficient data processing.
- Designing and implementing reporting solutions that integrate Tableau with AWS services for seamless data visualization.
- Developing containerized UI applications with microservices architecture on Amazon EKS.
- Monitoring and optimizing system performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Automating deployment processes and workflows using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle and troubleshooting infrastructure-related issues.
Description
We value excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities. Banking domain experience will be an added advantage, along with AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional credentials. Experience with financial reporting systems or similar data-intensive applications is preferred. Knowledge of Angular and Node.js for frontend and backend development will also be beneficial.
