Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in Java and Python development
- Proficiency in Spring Boot, AWS, SQL, Spring MVC, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Hands-on knowledge of React JS, Redux, HTML5, and CSS3
- Familiarity with frontend testing tools like Jest
- Strong understanding of software design and architecture principles
- Ability to optimize applications for speed and scalability
- Experience with code quality, organization, and automation
- Knowledge of security and data protection measures
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture using relevant technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
- Oversee the development of documentation throughout the software development life cycle
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies

We are a dynamic company located in Glasgow, seeking a Senior Java / Python Full Stack Developer for a contract position of 6 months, starting in April 2026.
