Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in test automation for complex systems
- Excellent coding skills beyond basic UI or Selenium-style testing
- Power user of iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS
- Familiarity with audio and video playback technologies
- Understanding of media streaming standards such as DASH and HLS
- Experience with Swift, Kotlin, Java, or Objective-C is beneficial
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, ideally with a focus on media-related projects
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or similar work-based experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide coaching and mentoring
- Knowledge of software development frameworks, techniques, and methodologies
Responsibilities
- Planning, organizing, and supervising release test cycles
- Driving improvements in software quality through Quality Engineering and shift-left practices
- Diagnosing root causes of failures and supporting junior colleagues in problem solving
- Collaborating with developers and being comfortable reading and understanding code
- Contributing to the development of business scenarios
Description
We are a forward-thinking company located in London and Manchester, offering a hybrid work model with 1-2 days a week in the office. Our team operates in an Agile/Kanban environment, focusing on the Standard Media Player for iOS and Android.
