Requirements

Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. - Experience in architecting and implementing cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway. - Experience in backend development using languages such as Python, Go, or Java. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). - Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases. - Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work effectively within a distributed team. - Knowledge of distributed systems, event‑driven architectures, or streaming data pipelines (preferred). - Experience working with geospatial data, mapping libraries, or data visualization frameworks (preferred). - Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) (preferred). - Experience building and consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs (preferred). - Exposure to RF, signal processing, or satellite‑derived data products (not required but beneficial) (preferred). - Familiarity with secure coding practices and cloud security principles (preferred). - Capable of using a distributed version control system such as Git (preferred).

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain full‑stack applications that support Spire’s RFGL product offerings. - Build robust backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that integrate with Spire’s space‑based data infrastructure. - Create intuitive, performant front‑end interfaces for visualizing RF geolocation outputs and analytics. - Collaborate with a globally distributed team to translate product requirements into technical solutions. - Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices. - Contribute to architectural decisions that improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability. - Monitor and optimize application performance in production environments. - Support continuous integration and deployment workflows.
