Must:
We are seeking an Application Support Specialist with a strong understanding of IT systems from both an end-user and business process perspective. You should be confident working in a Windows and Microsoft Office environment, possess the curiosity and analytical skills to learn new systems and technologies, and have experience writing user documentation. Additionally, you must be a clear communicator who can work effectively with users, developers, and infrastructure colleagues. We value individuals who remain calm under pressure, have a methodical approach, and are committed to accuracy and structure. A true team player with a helpful and professional attitude is essential. Lastly, the ability to obtain positive security clearance for port-related operations is required.
Responsibilities
As part of our Application Support team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth deployment and optimization of in-house applications used by both internal stakeholders and external clients. Your responsibilities will include testing, rolling out, and supporting new and updated systems developed internally; creating clear and user-friendly documentation and guides; managing application control parameters to ensure reliable day-to-day operation; and logging and tracking bugs or enhancement requests. You will collaborate closely with the development team to drive improvements.
