Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an experienced OT Security Engineer who has a background in control systems or OT cybersecurity, ideally within the energy, oil, and gas sectors. You should possess a strong understanding of industrial networks and remote connection tools, as well as knowledge of IEC 62443 and industry cyber best practices. Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential, and having a GICSP or similar certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will support and implement our OT cybersecurity strategy across global projects. Your tasks will include configuring networks, remote access, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware). You will validate technical documentation and ensure compliance with IEC 62443 standards. Additionally, you will deliver engaging cyber training sessions for our teams and clients, collaborate with stakeholders to drive the adoption of secure digital solutions, and maintain our cyber lab, providing hands-on support for commissioning worldwide.
Description
This is a high-impact opportunity within a leading global energy technology organization. The contract duration is 6-12 months, with a daily rate of up to £600 (inside IR35). The position will primarily be based in Warwick (1–2 days per week) and Lincoln (monthly), with occasional global travel.
