Requirements
Must:
- I require a candidate with at least 4 years of Windows Server Administration experience, managing around 100 servers.
- You should possess expertise in VMware, Active Directory, AWS, SAN Storage, and DNS.
- Experience in a production environment is essential, and familiarity with Linux is desirable.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified, VMware Certified, or AWS Certified would be a plus.
Responsibilities
- In this role, I expect you to manage, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows Server environments effectively.
- You will be part of our 24/7 production environment, working alongside approximately 25 engineers in our team.
- Supporting multiple systems or applications of medium to high complexity will be part of your daily tasks.
- You will also manage Mail, DNS, FTP, IIS, and Application environments.
- Participation in the On-Call rotation is necessary, as you will occasionally work with cabling, racking, and other tasks in Physical Data Centres.
- Clear communication of events to stakeholders, teams, and leadership will be critical to your success.
Description
As a Windows Server Systems Administrator, you will maintain and contribute to the ongoing reliability, performance, and support of our infrastructure. I am excited to bring you on board during a time of team expansion and new client acquisitions, offering a hybrid work arrangement where you will spend 2 days per week in our Southampton office. Your efforts will be integral to delivering high-performance IT solutions in our large-scale operation. The salary for this position ranges from £40,000 to £52,000.
