Requirements
Must:
- A couple of years of experience in UX/UI design
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or Sketch
- Understanding of HTML/CSS or front-end frameworks (not essential, but helpful)
- Familiarity with mobile app UX guidelines (Material, Human Interface)
- Awareness of accessibility standards and inclusive design
Responsibilities
- Design user-centric mobile and web experiences from concept to delivery
- Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to bring ideas to life
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate designs
- Evolve and maintain our design system and visual language
- Ensure accessibility and responsive design best practices
- Participate in team reviews and offer constructive feedback
- Champion good UX thinking across the business
Description
We are an established company embedded within one of the UK's most innovative tech hubs. We are fully funded and well-equipped to launch our latest tech incarnation—a unique pet tag tracking service poised to disrupt the sector. Our wealthy owners have successfully launched multiple start-ups over the past 10 years, demonstrating substantial income from their previous ventures. We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to play a central role in how users interact with our Flutter mobile app and internal admin tools. This is a hands-on design role, and we require a candidate who is eager to take ownership of the entire design process and collaborate closely with developers and product stakeholders. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Segensworth, Hampshire.
