Requirements
Must:
- At least 2 years of experience in testing one of the following: hardware, systems, or embedded software.
- Ability to write clear and concise test procedures and user documentation.
- Competency in writing documentation, including test procedures and reports.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with issue tracking systems is an advantage, but not essential.
- Programming knowledge in languages such as Python, C, or C++ is beneficial.
- Must be British and eligible for security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Work in a multi-disciplined design team to test new and updated products.
- Write test procedures for products.
- Attend training to develop skills and knowledge.
- Update user guides and review technical documentation.
- Provide feedback on test results and suggest ideas for improvements.
Description
We have an excellent opportunity for a Systems Test Engineer to join our well-established team in Fareham, Hampshire. We are looking for a confident test engineer who can test various products, including application software, embedded systems, and hardware. You will be joining a team of four, and while we expect you to hit the ground running, we will provide support and training when needed. We pride ourselves on being a great place to work and offer a comprehensive benefits package along with competitive salaries.
