Must:
As a Senior Software Engineer, I expect you to have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering. You should possess strong expertise in Delphi and C#. Additionally, familiarity with APIs, Oracle, SQL, Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS will be essential. I value candidates who can act as a technical lead and mentor within our team and have an interest in continuous improvement and keeping abreast of new tools and technologies.
Responsibilities
In your role as a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative Agile product team. Your responsibilities will include writing clean, efficient, and secure code in Delphi and C#. You will support the development and integration of both legacy and modern platforms, contribute to CRM product development, APIs, and databases, and provide technical leadership by mentoring mid-level and junior engineers. Participation in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and sprint delivery will also be expected. Additionally, you will support out-of-hours incident resolution on a rota basis.

The position is hybrid with an office located in Southampton, Hampshire, and offers a salary of circa £55,000 - £56,000, along with an up to 15% discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package that includes a pension scheme, healthcare, an EV car scheme, a volunteering day, and opportunities for career progression.
