Requirements
Must:
- Strong Python experience, particularly with asynchronous or distributed systems
- Solid experience building APIs and backend services
- Good understanding of cloud environments (Azure preferred), CI/CD, and deployment
- Experience building and shipping systems used in real-world environments (ideally client-facing or delivery-led)
- Someone who enjoys the craft of engineering, not just shipping code, but building things properly
- A genuine interest in AI and how its shaping modern software development
Responsibilities
- Own the development of production-grade systems in a collaborative environment
- Design APIs and back-end services to meet project requirements
- Think through asynchronous processing and scale solutions
- Shape deployment, monitoring, and improvement of systems in production
- Work on real client environments and tackle complex technical challenges
- Be curious and proactive in figuring out solutions to problems as they arise

We are a small and talented team of engineers, data scientists, and AI specialists building exciting projects in the AI delivery space. Well-backed and operating with a focus on solving complex technical and analytical problems, we are in a unique position to shape our engineering culture and technical direction. As we expand from 15 to 50 team members over the next 12 months, we offer a fully remote working environment across the UK, allowing our engineers to influence how systems are built while balancing pace with quality.
