We are looking for a candidate with a background in .NET/Azure who is interested in transitioning to a Node.js, JavaScript, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. Ideal candidates should have experience writing clear, quality, tested, and well-documented code. A strong foundation in backend development is essential, and there will be opportunities to learn frontend technologies.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Code Development: Writing high-quality code that meets our standards for testing and documentation.
- Deployment & Maintenance: Managing and supporting multiple services across various environments.
- Skill Development: Engaging in continuous learning and adapting to new technologies.
- Backend Focus with Frontend Exposure: Primarily focusing on backend development, while gaining exposure to frontend technologies.
Your work will involve maintaining legacy code in .NET, while engaging in exciting new projects using JavaScript on Google Cloud Platform. You will work with technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, GraphQL, GCP, MongoDB, Docker & Compose, CI/CD, React, Tailwind, Next.js, and Kubernetes.

The salary for this Senior Software Developer position is up to £67,500, along with benefits that include 25 days of holiday, a performance bonus, and a pension plan.
