Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience managing mission-critical SQL Server databases.
- Strong T-SQL programming skills.
- Experience with database replication and Availability Groups.
- Proven problem-solving ability with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
- Desirable skills (not essential, but a significant plus) include: SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, Kafka, MSK, Snowflake, Aurora DB, SNS, and experience with AWS or Azure database management.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Cloud Database Engineer, your main tasks will include:
- Installing, configuring, upgrading, monitoring, and maintaining multiple SQL Server databases in a 24/7 environment.
- Optimizing database and application performance.
- Managing backup and recovery policies and procedures.
- Implementing robust database security measures.
- Creating, maintaining, and monitoring SQL scripts and processes.
- Collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams to solve complex challenges.
